About Me

Dale Dressage Oval ImageHorses have always been in my life. As a young girl I was lucky to have a pony to ride in Pony Club competitions and local shows. I rode for an owner of a lovely jumping pony on which I show jumped at Junior Open competitions with many riders who continued in the sport to become famous. Pony Club Eventing also gave me great experience, taking many different horses and ponies into the Inter branch competitions.

Luck was on my side when I was offered a job in Vienna where I absorbed a huge amount of knowledge running a large dressage centre with 40 horses, some liveries and several very well trained stallions to educate our clientele most of which came from overseas.

Back in England we took over a large Riding Centre which specialised in running residential courses for students who were working for all the BHS examinations. I was able to start competing in dressage competitions with my own horses which I trained to different levels depending on their abilities Two made it all the way to Grand Prix. I was a British Dressage Judge and a Senior Examiner for the BHS.

Dale Dressage ActionThe next stage of my education came from Germany here I was able to stay on a lovely training yard and rode many different horses under super instruction. I was also buying horses for clients at home.

I have been invited to teach in the USA and Zambia many times. Also in South Africa and this has widened my insight into how students deal with different situations.

The ability to continue learning is always open if you love your horses. it gives me great pleasure to pass on through teaching.
